Flip Speed is a 1999 racing board game. The game features 4 Nine Universe characters; D Man (now discontinued), Cannonball (now discontinued), Mushroom Ninja and Flip. The game was the biggest Nine Corp board game of it’s time, it was critically acclaimed and received good reviews in Nine’s World magazine.

Development
The game was initially coined up to bring all of Nine Corporation’s family orientated characters together in one product. Previous to this release was the D Man; The Escape (board game), Mushroom Ninja (comic book), the critically acclaimed Flip; The Beginning (Comic book) and a string of successful Cannonball collectors posters.

The game was developed to use the New CB (compact boardgame) standard that was popular in the Nine Corporation at the time. Making the game as a racing genre proved popular as a multiplayer board game, allow 4 people to play at the same time.
